AMBIENTE 2026 FLOORS FEBRUARY 6-10 IN FRANKFURT AT THE MESSE FRANKFURT EXHIBITION CENTER.

When it comes to consumer goods trade fairs, none is more important or bigger than Ambiente, February 6-10, in Frankfurt, Germany. The fair showcases a variety of products for different living spaces and style directions and focuses on different themes, including sustainability, lifestyle and digital expansion. In this Q & A, Thomas Kastl, director of Ambiente Dining, offers an update of this upcoming show, what it means for the hospitality industry and why it’ s a mustattend event for hoteliers.

HOTELS: Ambiente is often described as the world’ s largest stage for dining innovation. What makes 2026 particularly relevant for the hospitality Industry? Kastl: For decision-makers in the hospitality industry, Ambiente 2026 offers a more
comprehensive portfolio than ever before. At the heart of this development are two pillars: the Special Interest HoReCa and the growing field of Hospitality Interiors. The HoReCa offer is centered in Hall 11.0 and extends into other dining halls via the HoReCa labeling. Hospitality Interiors are located in Hall 3.1. Here, Interior Looks is another curated brand area at Ambiente, successfully launched this year and continued in 2026 due to strong demand. It showcases high-quality furniture and interior solutions tailored to the hospitality and contract business sectors, with a strong focus on design, craftsmanship and new international business contacts. With our new Ambiente Projects, we highlight our second strong pillar alongside retail: a dedicated platform that bundles the fair’ s
diverse offer for commercial end-users in the hospitality and contract business. It brings together HoReCa, Hospitality Interiors and Contract Business, complemented by new formats such as Back of House, Interior Looks, and the brand new Interior Design & Architecture Hub. Together, these elements broaden the perspective to cover the entire hospitality journey with unmatched breadth and depth.
