HVMG NAMES GARY KUNESH CFO AND SENIOR VP
Hospitality Ventures Management Group( HVMG) has named industry veteran Gary Kunesh senior vice president and chief financial officer. In his new role, Kunesh will provide oversight of accounting, financial reporting, tax, risk management and technology functions for the organization at both the corporate and property levels.
RESOLUTE ROAD ADDS TO EXEC TEAM
Resolute Road Hospitality has added Doug Ableman as regional vice president of operations and Kent Duncan as vice president of revenue management to its leadership team. With more than 15 years as a hotel general manager and previous experience as a regional director of operations with Western States Lodging and Management, Ableman’ s experience spans diverse hotel brands, including Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Wyndham and independent properties. Duncan joins the team as vice president of revenue management after serving in the same role at Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc. for over three years. His hospitality career also includes a 12-year tenure with Marcus Hotels & Resorts and a 7-year tenure with Marriott International.
AIMBRIDGE’ S LATEST PROMOTION
Aimbridge Hospitality has announced the promotion of Michael Murray to vice president of operations for Evolution Hospitality, the company’ s lifestyle operating division. Since joining Aimbridge in 2016, Murray has risen through the ranks from general manager to campus general manager, and most recently served as general manager of Hotel PASEO, an Autograph Collection by Marriott.
