In 2017 , consulting firm Deloitte conducted its fifth annual survey of training trends in the travel , hospitality and services sector , obtaining responses from 10,400 training managers , human resource specialists and business leaders in 140 countries . Some of the findings show that the companies should invest more in digital leadership , including developing digital capabilities that drive business transformation . Details :
Nearly 63 % of respondents believe they have an underdeveloped or nonexistent leadership program in the digital arena .
More employees expect a digital experience at work centered around teams , productivity and empowerment , but 31 % of surveyed companies have no mobile-enabled human resource solutions .
There is little digital experience in recruiting , learning and employee engagement . Of those surveyed , 38 % said their companies are re-evaluating talent acquisition strategies and programs .
