The site of a 19th-century brewery , Hotel Emma in San Antonio , aims to provide a history-rich experience in South Texas . The 143-room hotel includes features that pay homage to its storied past , including a two-story library , brick and plaster walls in several guestrooms and a bar that uses repurposed cast-iron fermentation tanks refurbished as banquettes .
