Hilton set a high bar a couple of years ago by introducing Five Feet to Fitness rooms at selected properties . Rooms are outfitted with a bike , strength training gear and other equipment , along with a kiosk that provides guided workouts . Fitness fanatics fork over a US $ 45 upcharge to indulge their habit .

meditation headbands , minibars stocked with healthy snack items , organic linens , organic cleaning products and more . The Zetta charges a US $ 25 premium on weekends and US $ 50 a night midweek for the rooms .
General Manager Mark Beevor says the bikes have been a particularly effective hook . “ Guests get to either use their own Peloton login account and train like they would at home , or first-time users can simply create a log-in and experience the Peloton for the first time in the convenience of the room ,” he says .
Resort guests require a slightly different tack , since vacationers aren ’ t necessarily driven to maintain their fitness routines . Auberge Resort Collection ’ s Chileno Bay Resort & Residences in Los Cabos , Mexico , has furnished Ocean View Wellness Rooms with Watt bikes and a yoga mat , but adds an indulgent element with a citrus juicer , chilled eye masks , aromatherapy kits , a pair of Mala and Mantra bracelets and Oka-B sandals . The swag and a bike with a Sea of Cortez view justify a US $ 50 higher room rate , which also entitles the guest to discounts on spa treatments and free admission to fitness classes . — M . R .
