Kahla debuts exhibition

Production methods , the creative ideas behind the designs , the activities of the Günther Raithel Foundation to support the creative exploration of porcelain and the commitment of Kahla to sustainability are brought to life for visitors of Kahla / Thüringen Porzellan in a permanent exhibition that was formally opened June 6 .
In part of the exhibition , more than 100 plates tell the history
of porcelain at Kahla , both in images and words . The story spans a period starting with the discovery of the secrets of porcelain production by Thuringian artisans and researchers and continues to cover milestones such as the creation of Kahla / Thüringen Porzellan GmbH by Günther Raithel in 1994 . A presentation of the most significant product series draws a link to the present day .

The Blanco Professional Group says it achieved a consolidated turnover in the 2013 fiscal year of € 109.1 million ( US $ 148.4 million ), down 4.4 % compared to the previous year . The company ’ s export share increased nearly 4 % to 42.4 %.
