The Vines Resort & Spa took root in the Uco Valley , Argentina ’ s premier winemaking region , following the success of The Vines of Mendoza , which since 2005 has sold private vineyards to more than 100 owners from around the world . It is fitting then , that the design of the 22-villa new-build property has a deep respect for the surrounding area . Lead architect and interior designers Bórmida & Yanzón put the focus on the stunning Andes Mountains and local vineyards , as in the infinity pool area where cabanas provide a private place to relax and enjoy the view .
