JW Marriott has made a dramatic debut in Turkey with a 24-story , 413-room new-build hotel in the heart of Ankara . Owner Özdoğan Group collaborated with RMJM , Frank Solano and DPA Lighting Design to create a hotel representing power and prestige in addition to the broad range of cultures present in Anatolia . Noteworthy design details include a handcrafted Turkish hammam in the hotel ’ s spa , 129,167 sq ft ( 12,000 sq m ) of marble from around the world used throughout the property and 59-ft ( 18-m ) -tall chandeliers in the lobby .
