BANYAN GOLF CLUB STARTS USING NEW
GOLF CARTS WITH GPS SYSTEM
Banyan Golf Club Hua Hin is raising the quality of the
golfing experience to a new level with a brand new fleet of
Club Cars fitted with VISAGE GPS systems that maximize
your scoring chances with complete yardage accuracy.
Installed with the latest touch screen technology, the
golf course map of the hole will pin point the distances to
all hazards and landing areas as well as determining the
placement on the green in yards or meters. Personalized
settings can also be inserted in order to select one’s preferred
language whether it’s English, Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
You can send messages to the clubhouse or a marshall for
first aid or emergency assistance and notify everyone on the
course about your hole-in-one. A cool feature is the “easy
to use” scorecard which can be emailed to you immediately
after you have completed your round. Feeling hungry? Try
ordering your food and beverage half way round the course, it
will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive at the 9th
kiosk.
The tournament module can be set up with a personalized
welcome screen for all players to see, a rolling leader board, on
course advertising of your products and sponsors which can
also feature a corporate video.
Commercial advertising space is available for the holes of
your choice to show your products and services on offer. For

SKÅL JANUARY MONTHLY DINNER HELD AT VANA NAVA
WATER JUNGLE
On Thursday 15th January Skål Hua
Hin Cha Am chapter held their monthly
dinner at the Vana Nava Water Jungle.
The January dinner was well attended
as many guests and Skål members were
exited to visit this newly launched water
park.
After a brief welcome speech from Skål
Hua Hin & Cha-Am president, Mr. Brian
Anderson a much anticipated inspection
tour of Vana Nava Water Park was lead
by General Manager Mike Fijas.
This was followed by the main guest
speaker, a hospitality veteran Mr. Bert
van Walbeek, Managing Director of The
Winning Edge who did a presentation

if well prepared. The presentation was
both amusing and very informative.
The evening was wrapped up with an
