As the team leader of our seven-person OMS Israel team, I have the privilege of witnessing God at work, bringing light in the midst of uncertainty. Despite war and other ongoing challenges, our dedicated team remains committed to sharing Christ’ s love through our ministries in Israel. Through Bible studies, compassionate assistance, and even military service, we see God’ s hand at work in incredible ways. Three of our team members— Deby, Karina, and Yosi— share how God is using them to bring hope to those who need it most.
Deby has seen firsthand how God uses fellowship and Scripture to transform lives. She hosts a women’ s Bible study in her home, creating a space for encouragement and growth. Recently, a new immigrant from Argentina joined the group, and Deby shares how the Lord is working in her life.
“ The Lord is using me and our ministry in so many ways,” Deby said.“ My women’ s Bible study has blessed the women in our congregation and throughout the city! Recently, women from Argentina joined us. She is not yet a believer but is eager to learn about the Bible. In one of our meetings, she shared her deep personal struggles, including thoughts of taking her own life.
“ Immediately, we prayed over her, encouraged her, and assured her that she could contact us anytime. Most importantly, we urged her to bring her burdens

before the Lord. Today, she is being mentored, and by God’ s grace, she is doing much better. Praise the Lord!”
Karina, our team’ s social worker, deeply loves people and tirelessly works to see them come to faith. Through outreach activities, she forms meaningful connections, supporting individuals with their practical needs. These interactions often lead to deeper conversations.
