Errors that could have caused my data to be slightly off are:
As my poll was on twitter I had a limit of how much I could say about the poll. I was limited to 140 characters in which I got
straight to the point without being able to explain that option three meant you had loving parents but still had low self-esteem
despite it. I was also not able to explain that if they had two different answers for two different parents that they should pick
the parent because I would have told them different ways to choose between them.
My audience was limited to those who could access twitter
People misunderstanding the poll and what it was asking
People may have lied on the poll
People may be narcissistic and choose option two when it is not actually of their situation
The findings of my poll showed that 183 people took my poll and most people had loving parents that they felt caused them to have high
self-esteem. A majority of people had loving parents, specifically 63.39%. Additionally, of those who said they had neglectful parents more
said they had low self-esteem as a result than those who said they had high self-esteem. I do believe there was an error in the second time
the poll went up because the answers for options one and two were much closer than in the previous poll.
