As a player in Henrico Coutny on middle school sports teams, I feel the budget cut the most. My skills do not have the best possible way to improve because of the lack of money given for the sports teams. I believe that everyone could be a lot better if we improve the equipment and tools necessary to succeed.
In my belief, Henrico County made a huge mistake in cutting budgets on education and sports. I believe that this is taking away any chance of improving competition and skills of myself and fellow players. With all of this money out of the picture, teams are falling apart. If Henrico only took away a little bit of money and then slowly put it back, all of these controversies and arguments would be avoided! If teams skills are not improving, Henrico County needs to use this as a sign to give back the money taken away for the budget. If all of this is done, I think things around school will be back to normal!
These are the words of an anonymous player. "When Henrico County cut budgets, they took away our ability to get a little better and improve. This will not help us at all and if anything it is taking away from us. They need to turn the budget back to the regular and there will be no more complaints!" I completely agree with this statement and Henrico really needs to turn around this situation!
