The new Rangers Ballpark will remain in the Arlington Entertainment District and will be located south of Globe Life Park in Arlington , south of Randol Mill Road and west of Stadium Drive . This is where Rangers Parking Lots A and B are currently located . The facility is expected to open in time for the start of the 2020 Major League Baseball season .
The new ballpark will be adjacent to the Texas Live ! development , a mixed-used entertainment district featuring dining , entertainment , a hotel and a convention center .
