HOME PLATE'S
NEW HOME
Following the conclusion of the Rangers 2019
season finale next door, home plate was dug from
the sandy dirt of the Rangers' home since 1994.

The same home plate that has been home to
2,081 regular season games and 25 monumental
postseason games was then paraded around Globe
Life Park in front of cheerful Rangers' fans, and into
the depths of its new permanent home, Globe
Life Field. Mayor Jeff Williams and former City of
Arlington Mayor Richard Greene joined Rangers
Co-Chairman Ray Davis, along with Rangers' co-
chairmen Neil Leibman and Bob Simpson to install
home plate into its new home.
