For the last ten years , I have developed a passion for Business Development and have been able to be a top performer in bringing in Sales Revenue for Car & General Trading East Africa , Jumia Kenya , Rivercross Tracking and currently working with G4S Kenya as a Sales consultant .
I started Beauty Hut Joska after identifying a gap within the area for beauty and fashion needs and also to put in practice my professional capabilities as I have mastered the art of Business Development for the last ten years . Beauty Hut was inspired by the quest to achieve growth in both my career and income that I have not been able to achieve in the corporate set-up .
Joska is a growing residential area with a growing community of middle-class families . There is a need for the latest fashion trends by women . Investment in Beauty is a great deal for most women to maintain a great image .
We provide Nail art , braiding and makeup services . We also sell women ’ s wear and cosmetics . The business has shown great promise to scale up in the coming years . We have currently started Nail Art Training and have had our first three students in one month of rolling out the learning program .
The D . E . A . R program has greatly impacted my Business Development Journey . I have been able to appreciate the art of storytelling , accounting and taxation , digital marketing , pricing , pitching for investor funding and great exposure to how women in business can excel . The program has also enabled me to be part of a community of women in Business , this has enriched me with knowledge of business trends and Investment opportunities for growth in my income too .
Every day is a learning day as they say and my current network of women cutesy of the program has provided that platform for learning and enriching

my mindset on Business Development . Digital Packaging Innovations Ltd and Jiko have been great factory visits through the programme . This is surely a journey and has supported me with the baby steps of my business venture .
My business has taken great direction after being part of the program , and I encourage women in business to always be part of such communities to enable knowledge sharing and having support systems for scaling their business .
