Collaboration brings about efficiency , higher productivity and durability�
Since I am an online business , I was having these conversations via digital platforms like Instagram , Facebook , Youtube to an already existing audience of these finance thought leaders . Having these conversations highlighted my expertise in risk management and insurance and consequently , I saw increased interest and more income . After joining the D . E . A . R MSME program , the collaboration came out as a strong theme in most of the classes . Going through the training I learnt the importance of doing collaborations intentionally to reach the overall business goals . I learnt that it was ok not to know it all . I had to do a self-analysis to know my strengths and weaknesses .
I also learnt , if we can , it is best for all of us to do what we are good at and leave the rest to experts . As people ’ s skillsets get increasingly specialised , collaboration as a practice becomes more important than ever .
When I started I did everything myself because I could not afford to outsource . When my business made more income , I saw the importance of networking and collaborating with professionals who could help me with the areas I was particularly not strong at .
In addition to collaborating with thought leaders to get the word out there about my business , the following are more collaborations that I have made that has helped me in the growth journey : Website professional , Brand visuals expert , Tax professional etc
