Hologic Takes 3D Mammography on the Road. Mobile Coach Tour highlights groundbreaking 3D technology For more than a year Beth Merry, Manager of Global Product Marketing in Breast Health, has led the team coordinating a specially designed 50 foot mobile coach to spread the word about the important clinical benefits of 3D mammography. Making stops in nearly every state, the coach has crisscrossed the country visiting Times Square for the kickoff of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October the U.S. capital to give Senators and Representatives and their staff, hands-on familiarity with how the technology works. In the past 12 months the Hologic coach has visited most of the largest Hologic plant sites, 150 hospitals and imaging sites and every important radiology and OB-GYN show from the RSNA (Radiological Society of North America) show to ACOG (American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists). The mobile coach tour worked so well the past year that planning is underway to use the 3D mobile coach for five more years.
