WHAT IS THE BIGGEST LESSON YOU’VE LEARNED? Don’t burn bridges. Creative people are often passionate and not always level headed. I may be an easy person to get along with most of the time, but passion is fire. Sometimes those bridges catch on fire and you struggle to keep them standing. Don’t hold grudges. Maybe you don’t care if you ever get to the other side of that bridge, but it’s a long way around. WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO YOU? HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHEN YOU’VE ACHIEVED IT? Success is being able to do what you love. Money and power don’t always come with success. I’d like to think that success would bring fulfillment, but I also don’t ever want to feel like I have no more goals left to achieve. IF YOU COULD HAVE DINNER WITH ANYONE IN THE WORLD, WHO WOULD IT BE? WHY? When we moved to LA we didn’t have any friends to go to dinner with. I was invited to join a secret Facebook group of LA girls, now so powerful it’s mentioned in Forbes as a Secret Internet Girl Cult. I’ve attended many happy hours and coffee shop meetings, looking for the right social and professional network. As a business owner you have to get out there and open doors. I’ve made several great friends in the past year. Last week alone I made a dozen new friends. I keep hoping one of them is BFF’s with Gwen Stefani. ✴ HollAndLaneMag.com | 45
