Debate Club starts at 7:30 every Wednesday morning before school . This year there have been lots of newcomers to the club giving us a great turnout at each session . The club ' s seniors facilitate the lessons to teach them about debating before judging practice debates on fun topics . All of this is in preparation for the four big tournaments of the year : Hawke ' s Bay Regionals , HB Impromptu Cup , Interschools , and for the juniors ( Year 9 ’ s and 10 ’ s ), there is the Havelock North High School Junior Impromptu Cup .
