TABLE TENNIS - WINNERS

Table tennis at HNHS was an enormous success in 2022 , drawing a sizeable group of players of all skill levels and ages . Students could practise and compete against their friends and other teams from the school during our twice-weekly practices that ran through Term 2 . It was also wonderful to see the participation of many younger players of all skill levels .
2022 was the year the HB Secondary School Teams Tournament resumed after being cancelled due to Covid-19 and Napier flooding in the last two years . Unfortunately , there were fewer spots available due to Covid-19 regulations . However , that didn ’ t stop the A – grade team “ aaAAHH ” from winning the tournament comfortably by a margin of more than 40 points . Our B – grade team “ the McZehndongs ” also did well in their grade . We all would like to give a special thank you to Mr Lowry for his dedication and organisation for the teams involved .
