The girls 1st XI were again one of the best school teams in Hawke ’ s Bay . They continued to be successful in the Thursday afternoon modified 20 / 20 league . There are many rep players in the team including Aimee Kay , Gretel Fairbrother , Poppy Finnie , Sydney Grant-Smith , Kiera Buchanan , Rachel Sewell , Emma Rimmer and Charlie McGinniss . The team was knocked out by Napier Girls ’
High School in the regional final . One of the highlights was from Rachel Sewell , who took 5 / 14 v Woodford House in the regional semi-final . Like the boys , the Tawa exchange match was sorely missed .
