JOANNA MOREAU
Founder | Operations
Joanna was born in South Africa, and qualified as an Interior Designer in Cape Town, shortly
before moving abroad to work in both London and Brunei on high level design projects. She has
over 25 years experience in Interior & Furniture Design.
Moving to Hong Kong in 2004 Joanna co-founded HKP in 2005. Her focus is on the production of
all furniture, finishes, decorative lighting, rugs and artwork for HKP’s projects locally & worldwide.
Her continued focus is on raising levels of product quality, in so doing competing with the finest
and best quality of custommade FF&E worldwide.
RICHARD MOREAU
Co-Founder | Finance & Strategy
Born and educated in Paris, Richard left France to work on a variety of luxury projects in Brunei,
London & then Cape Town. He moved to Hong Kong in 2003 where he set up his Interior Design
company , specialising in high-end Retail & Corporate Design.
In 2018 he founded, with two local partners, a Property Development company based in Monaco.
Richard joined HKP in 2005 as partner and is responsible primarily for the business development
& strategy, and finance. He has been instrumental in improving the factory codes of practice, ie
manufacturing methods, quality control standards, packaging and after sales service.
HERNAN ZANGHELLINI
Co-Founder | Development
Born and educated in Chile, Hernan moved to Australia, then Brunei, where he worked on many
prestigious projects. In 1996 Hernan set up his Interior Design studio in Hong Kong, one of the
most prolific in Asia with 500+ restaurants, bars, lounges and clubs successfully completed in the
APAC region.
Hernan is the major shareholder of a renowned Western cuisine restaurant chain established in
2003 in Hong Kong.
In 2005 he co-founded HKP where his role is in business strategy and development through his
indepth experience and extensive network in the hospitality industry.
