“The Cherries” was formed in 1984
in response to local demand – since
when it has gone from strength to
strength. The Club is now a focal
point in the village, providing as
it does, both sporting and social
activities. “Fun, Fitness and
Friendship” is our Club’s adopted
motto and although essentially
a summer outdoor bowling
organisation we offer various close
season pursuits including whist,
short-mat bowling, bingo and skittles
to shake off those winter blues!
FHBC is a member of the Bucks
Bowling Association and participates
in many South Bucks competitions
including Chiltern & Thames, Three
Counties and the Bucks Plate and
League contests,
We have a full fixture list with many
bowling clubs in the area, hold our

own internal competitions and have
regular practice (roll-up) sessions to
suit all levels of players.
The Club boasts one of the finest
greens in the county and has a very
well stocked licenced bar.
Bowling is both a sociable and skilful
game and new members of any age
and capability are very welcome to
come along and “GIVE BOWLS A
TRY”
