I am the Nutritional Therapist that helped Natalie
recover from her migraines. My passion for using
food as medicine started when I healed myself after
decades of very poor health. I then did a degree so
that I could help others achieve their optimum health.
Here are some of the most common questions people
ask when they hear what I do.

What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy offers you a personalised programme which is as unique and individual as
you are. During a consultation we take a full health history of your diet and lifestyle, and any
past illness and surgeries. In addition to this, we investigate how genetics, environment, and
other factors, such as stressful events, are contributing to your current state of well-being.
This way we can get to the root cause of your imbalance and symptoms. When we know
what exactly is causing the body to send its cries for help by way of symptoms, we are
better equiped at eliminating them. Often people look to mask symptoms with medication,
treatments and ointments. If you don’t eliminate the problem from its source it can be like
playing the fairground game Whack-A-Mole. You chase and deal with symptoms as they arise,
but know the ‘mole’ is likely pop up again somewhere else with increasing frequency.
Who is it for?
Well, we all eat and drink and can probably all make improvements so in my opinion it’s for
everyone. However, more often than not I see clients who are fed up of their symptoms whether
niggling or severe. They are ready to really get to the root cause of their problems to resolve
them once and for all. I work alongside any current healthcare provision you have in place.
I help people manage, reduce and often eliminate negative symptoms all
the while feeling more energetic, positive and happier as a result. Issues I
have helped people with include: anxiety & depression, IBS and digestive
problems, migraine and headaches, chronic fatigue, MS, weight loss & gain,
PMS and conditions associated with female hormone imbalance, reducing
cardiovascular disease risk, diabetes, arthritis, eczema, asthma, frequent
infection.
Will you make me drink kale smoothies?
First of all I won’t make you do anything you don’t want to! Sometimes I
will introduce foods that you are not used to having, but it’s all done in a
realistic way that fits around your lifestyle, tastes and budget. If you really
don’t like something we can find alternatives to ensure your nutritional
requirements are met. After feeling the positive benefits of a new way of
eating, most clients tell me they never want to go back to their old ways.
