The weekend brought a pair of London
friends a’calling, one of whom arrived with
digital camera attached. Her eye landed on
all manner of minutiae - the bughouse, the
antique dogcart filled with purple salvia, the
handwritten signs of the 5 varietals, the pillar
row of wooden cinnamon stick-like posts, a
single rose bloom.
