We then moved on to The Bell at Chearsley. A
traditional thatched country pub featuring a large
inglenook fireplace which would be perfect to sit
around in the winter. However, with the sun still
shining, we opted for the garden. It’s a great
garden for families with plenty to amuse the kids
including a wendy house, climbing frame, swings
and even a classic cosy coupe.
We ended up at the Eight Bells in Long Crendon.
By this time we were feeling peckish so we
ordered their baked camembert followed by
burgers; a chickpea one for me. Delicious!
We had a lovely day out in our beautiful county
of Buckinghamshire. With the warm sunshine we
felt like we were actually on holiday, discovering
new places to visit, and enjoying some much
needed rest and relaxation.
