Ebreo, uap San Juan-Mandaluyong Chapter Charter President The UAP National Board approved the proposal of Arch. Mapalo, Jr. In October 16, 1987, the San Juan-Mandaluyong Chapter was chartered. Induction of officers was held at Club Filipino with its Chapter President Arch. Jaime M. Ebreo and officers: Architects Danilo B. Alano, Rodolfo O. Acosta, Noli N. Fabic, Jose P. Lacno, Elsa Villanueva-Galusan, Art Garcia, Erlinda Jose-Goss, and 50 other members were present. In 1991, Arch. Carlos Sison being the first from the San Juan-Mandaluyong Chapter served the Regional District A-5 as the fourth District Director while in FY 1996-1997, Arch. Danilo B. Alano served as the tenth District Director. Arch. Danilo B. Alano, uap Served as the Tenth Regional District A-5 Director for FY 1996-1997 On May 21st of 2003, during the 16th Chapter Anniversary at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club, the Café Architect, official newspaper of the chapter, was launched. Arch. Rosario Q. Roxas thought of having this newspaper for information and updating members with the initiative of Arch. Antonio C. Zenarosa, the Chapter Secretary. It was approved by the body. This newsletter, which started as mere 4 page newspaper, has been improved to a 12-16 pager newspaper through the tireless effort of Arch. Richard R. Pamplena who is still serving as editor-in-chief for more than 5 years now. Meanwhile, at the same year for FY 2003-2004, Arch. Robert Lee L. Guerrero served as the 17th Director of the Regional District A-5.
