The building itself is in fair shape and the gym is adequate. Several of the lower grades must share teachers and rooms. The library contains about a thousand books. The building was erected in 1951. Toda, Vimville and Center Hill are discussed By Jack Wardlaw, Meridian Star Staff Writer In many ways, the problems at Vimville School are typical of all the county white schools. Vimville ranks third in size among the county schools, with 354 students and it teachers, but it like some other, has been crowded by the consolidation program. Students from Whynot were consolidated into Vimville this year. The school board had planned to consolidate the entire school; but due to a lack of space the elementary grades were left at Whynot. Despite the maintenance of the Whynot School, Vimville has had to utilize a former home for teachers for classroom space. The building was erected in 1938, is in fair condition. Outdoor toilets are in use.
