Why do we study the Middle Ages?
The Middle Ages is a very interesting epoch in history. Many important inventions and discoveries were made during the middle ages and also the society was structured in an interesting way.
Well, as I said, the hierarchy and society
was very different from today, but ofcourse we can still see some problems still today that we can trace back to the middle ages, for example, theocracy, when the governmental state is ruled by religion or religous belifs. which it also as we can also say to some extent during the middle ages, christianity was very powerfull and suppressed the people in common sense and common reason and so on, and in some countries we can also see that today, that religios leades today suppress the citizens, that they have to obey the religion and can't really think for themselves and so its kind of the society is in decline, because they can't really seek their own knowledge or their own scientific investigations and so on. Trading is kind of blossom during the middle ages with the age of exploration when people started to explore the world, which is a positive thing when it comes to trading.
In the Middle Ages, there were a lot of problems that people faced if we put these problems on today's table, how will the decision making and strategies for problem-solving differ from the Middle ages, considering the time, effort and money?
