The Printing

The printing revelotion started in China at around the 2nd century. It reached Europe during the 15th century. The printing revelotion, from its name, is when the first printer was invented in 1440. It was invented by Johannes Gutenberg, a German publisher we died 1468. The first book printed was the Gutenberg Bible in the 1450s. At first, the books only belonged to the monasteries and the church but as time passed, more and more books were printed, giving more people access to books and knowledge. As more people got acces to books, more people wanted to learn how to read and write therfore, Knowledge spread through Europe.
