I was recently diagnosed with high blood pressure. My doctor prescribed
amlodipine and it caused my legs and feet to swell. When I asked for something that
wouldn’t cause swelling, he prescribed Lisinopril. It didn’t cause swelling, but some of
the worst side effects included liver damage and angioedema. What scared me most
was that African Americans are more likely to get angioedema which can be life-threatening. Now, I don’t know what to take. A friend of mine takes a tablespoon of apple
cider vinegar to help manage her blood pressure. And I’ve heard apple cider vinegar is
good for overall health benefits. What do you think about using apple cider vinegar as
an alternative to high blood pressure medication?
