angel of God, who had been traveling in
front of Israel’s army, withdrew and went
behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved
from in front and stood behind them”. Exo-
dus 14:19 (NIV) Do not be worried or
overburdened, ask the Lord to help you
raise the staff in your hand.
4. Any wall God puts before and around
you will either hold back pressure or
provide security; pressure from trying
to help yourself or safety from harm. As
the Israelites continued to stay in God’s
will, the sea turned to dry land, and
the sea also stood as solid walls by their
sides. What we see as a wall is God’s
way of protecting us, grooming us and
strengthening our walk with Him. Did
you notice that what seemed like a wall
of protection for the Israelites swal-
lowed their enemies? If the Lord has
set your feet at a place, no matter how
tough or painful the experience may be,
keep fighting the good fight of faith,
there is light, you may not see it now,
but it will unveil at the perfect time.
What we may deem as difficulties and
uncertainties are also a source of the
shield covering us from harm.
On that note my beloved, I will remind
you on His word in I Corinthians 15
(NASB): “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be
steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the
work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in
vain in the Lord.”
