It's Mine

I
hope and pray this article will be enlight-
ening and thought-provoking for every
reader. I pray that everyone as a result of
reading this article, will be mindful of the
ways in which we deal with each other and
know that God has gifted, anointed and
blessed all of us to make a contribution to
the world and we don’t need to manipulate
one another, deceive one another or pow-
er-posture to have anything in life because
what God intends for us to have, we will
have it, for the “Lord promised that he
would supply all of our needs according to
his glorious riches, which have been given to
us in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, NLT).”
First of all, before I proceed any
further, I wanted to ask to the question,
how many of you have children? If you like

myself have one child or even ten children,
you are aware that children are born with
a selfish nature. Parents spend countless
years teaching children the importance of
sharing with others and although that is the
case, their children still wrestle with each
other for toys and possessions, as they artic-
ulate to each other boisterously “you can’t
have it the toy is mine.” Although it may be
humorous to witness children reacting that
way, it isn’t funny to see two adults acting
in like manner for the Bible tells us “when
I was a child, I spoke and thought and
reasoned as a child. But when I grew up,
I put away childish things (I Corinthians
13:11, NLT).”
