from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus
our Lord.” Romans 8:38, 39. This is the Healing
of our Loving God.
In setting my mind on Him, my heart
quickens and begins to feel the pulse of Jesus’
pursuits. His presence breathes life. When all
collapses with an aching, grieving heart, tired
of life and tired of trusting, He far outreaches
the endurance of me. Jesus wants me leaning
on Him. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will
make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5,6. This
is the Healing of our Loving God.
Feeling ill-equipped and weak more
often than I feel stable and strong, I want to
do healthy things and make healthy choices,
sometimes I don’t know how. In my own
strength, I lack the resources or knowledge.
