a missionary-- but the tools I would be using would not be those of traditional ministry; rather I would bring the business and political practices of sustainability utilized in the“ secular” world to the mission field. It was as if a mandate from heaven dropped in my heart to combat poverty through societal reformation and Kingdom advancements.
From the moment I had the visitation with the Lord in my junior year of High School, I have walked towards the goal of reaching the nations by expanding traditional missions practices by implementing the other spheres of influence. As an undergraduate student, I received my Bachelor of Science in Political Science with an emphasis on Humanitarian Affairs and most recently, in 2013, I received my Masters in Public Policy, from Pepperdine University, with a specialization in International Affairs. I have been beyond blessed to not only gain the academic tools to address the burgeoning issues surrounding poverty but I have also been privileged to work on the field in Cambodia at one of the largest faith-based mico-finance organizations.
The Lord is always speaking, and He spoke to me once again. He spoke into the depths of my heart, that though I was studying to change the natural circumstances of the poor through sustainable and economic means, it would be meaningless if these people were not shown the saving grace and love of Jesus. How is a nation to be saved if we fail to do what Jesus did? Jesus cared for the poor but He also set them free.
I believe the door to serve HIM came at a time in my life where I had a revelation that more and more ministries would be getting prophetic downloads of how to advance God’ s Kingdom through creative business and government methods, while preaching the gospel to all men. I am honored to be serving this amazing, God-ordained ministry, under the leadership of my father, the Founder and President of HIM. I believe that Harvest International Ministry will go down in history as being one of the most influential organizations known for advancing global revival and societal reformation.
I give glory to Jesus for the more than 50 nations that we are currently in and our vast and ever increasing network of 25,000 ministries around the world. I am in awe of the creative sustainable projects that we’ ve been able to do in the Philippines and Kenya, just to name a few. In the Philippines, we supported several villages to start their own local businesses. In Kenya, we partnered with Wagner Leadership Institute( WLI) to educate former street-workers to create their own Kingdom businesses.
It exhilarates me when I imagine what the Lord is going to continue to do through our HIM family. The possibilities are endless because with God, there are no limits. I know everything we’ ve accomplished, as a network, is because of His mercy and goodness. I’ m humbled to be the Director of this organization and I believe that the best is yet to come. Pressing on for revival and reformation!
