What is exciting to you about how God is moving in the nations today?
What is a recent testimony of breakthrough for you and your ministry?
“... Where sin increased, grace increased all the more...”- Romans 5:20
Today, amidst the growing darkness polluting our world, a fresh tide of God’ s love and life are rising.“ Mordor’ s armies,” swarming like black tar, are unaware that God is preparing His own warriors. Perhaps for the first time in history, God’ s warriors are not partially armored and incompletely armed. Those who are aligned with God’ s move in the nations today have taken up the“ whole armor” of God in the following ways: They are free to move in the Spirit but are careful to do so in alignment with the Word.
While walking in realms of authority they guard themselves from sin, maintaining Christ-glorifying character. Those blessed with wealth are investing it in strategic high-return initiatives revealing Christ in the darkest places. While basing their message on the Gospel of Salvation, they go on to the Gospel of the Kingdom, transforming whole communities. They no longer pursue position or power, but He who came“ not to be served but to serve.” Finally those who are aligned with God’ s move in the nations today honor diversity in Christ’ s body, valuing each expression of faith for its unique contribution.
In 2013, the Lord showed me that in order to realize the massive vision I have been given, as the Director of TellAsia Ministries, to reach 300 million people in the Ganges area of north India, a new breakthrough in the spirit realm was needed. At about the same time I had the encounter, a prophetic word came to Lou Engle, leader of The Call. Lou brought a team for 21 days of prayer and fasting along the Ganges River. Immediately afterward the forces of darkness retaliated with some of the worst spiritual attacks in TellAsia’ s history. Though our native teams were exhausted from the warfare, we felt an urgent need to battle offensively through focused intercessory prayer. A team from HIM, led by Mark and Ann Tubbs, were the guest ministers in the kick-off event. Since then, several regional prayer rallies received overwhelming response with leaders from eight districts coming together. Key leaders were selected to spearhead more prayer gatherings in their local villages. These initial gatherings have become the catalyst for a prayer movement all across the Ganges region. The fruit was evidenced in over 100,000 new believers in 2015, despite increased persecution.
