1978

OCTOBER : Ché Ahn has an open vision from the Lord of a world map , formed in the clouds . The Lord tells Ché that he will reach every continent , especially Asia .

2000

SEPTEMBER : HIM helps found The Call with Lou Engle , and Ché Ahn signs on as the President of The Call . HIM pastors are among the first church leaders to become state and city coordinators helping to mobilize The Call . An estimated 400,000 people gather as a part of the solemn assembly to pray and fast for the United States , on the Washington , D . C . mall , representing multiple generations and denominations of believers .

1996
OCTOBER : Harvest International Ministry ( HIM ), a network of networks , is founded by Ché Ahn . Fourteen churches come together to form HIM , making a covenant to fulfill the Great Commission together .
Rick Wright becomes the first Executive Director of HIM ( through 2002 ).

2001

Korea
The first HIM church in Seoul , Korea is planted by Paul and Catherine Lee .

2002
Dr . Jung-Shik Hong begins the first HIM Korea apostolic center .
Erick Tammaru becomes the second Executive Director of HIM ( through 2006 ).
