We all need some positive vibes to get us through our everyday lives .
The Independent has found plenty of them at the Hills Women ’ s Shed , and despite its name , men are more than welcome too .
A branch of the Positive Vibes Foundation , Hills Women ’ s Shed isn ’ t just about craft and cooking , it also gets involved in community causes such as assisting newly arrived migrants from Afghanistan with donations of clothing and household items so they could be set up in their new homes .

Did you know our councillor Frank De Masi has had several Olympic Gold medals placed around his neck all because of his long association with Australia Post ?
Journalist Lorna Gordon sat down with Mr De Masi who revealed rather interesting career moments with post offices – managing a special post office set up in the athletes ’ village for the Sydney

Well done and congratulations to Marcus Dumesny , of Nelson , who just happens to be the newly crowned Australian Sprintcar champion of 2022 .
At just 22 years of age he ’ s reached one of the pinnacles of a sport his father Max has dominated . Marcus has firmly announced his star is on the rise , and with his pedigree and crew , will certainly be a force to be reckoned with for years to come .
