Glenhaven . It ’ s great to see so many people out and about after what has been a challenging 18 months for everybody . I am pleased the Federal Government has been able to support The Hills Shire Council through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure ( LRCI ) program to create this playground for the community ,” Mr Leeser said
In June , Council ran a public consultation for residents to select their new playground at the local Reserve . Over the course of the consultation period , more than 500 submissions were received . Council reviewed those submissions and made further amendments to the design , including more rubber soft fall , as well as the addition of two picnic settings and rainbow chimes .

The new facility also includes :
• A crocodile themed multi-play area ;
• Double bay swings with pod ;
• A balance beam ;
• An inclusive trampoline ;
• A snake themed springer ; and
• A carousel .
This playground upgrade was made possible through $ 105,000 funding from the Australian Government through the LRCI Program .
