HAPPY NEW YEAR The start of each New Year is a time to reflect on the year just past , and make plans for the future . Given how challenging 2021 has been for us all , it feels especially important to express our hopes and dreams for better days ahead for us all .
So Happy New Year Castle Hill ! Wishing you a happy , safe and healthy 2022 .
AUSTRALIA DAY – 26 JANUARY 2022
This Australia Day , the community is encouraged to Reflect , Respect and Celebrate our nation and our people – especially our strong sense of community as we work towards reconnecting .
Australia Day 2022 is a time to recognise the resilience of all Australians and to focus on what we can achieve when we move forward as a community and a unified nation . Australia Day means different things to different people and everyone is encouraged to acknowledge Australia Day in a way that ’ s meaningful to them . Regardless of our origins or our past , 26th January is a day for Australians from all backgrounds and communities to come together to share stories , embrace our diversity , and celebrate our unity .
If you see me at one of the local Australia Day activities , please come and say G ’ Day !

The 2022 Seniors Diary is now available . It ’ s packed with information and useful tips about a wide range of legal issues , including aged care , age discrimination and advice on preparing a will . A free copy of the new Seniors Diary is available for collection from the Baulkham Hills Electorate Office at 25-33 Old Northern Road , Baulkham Hills . You can also pick up a copy at Legal Aid NSW offices , libraries and community legal centres .

Complex update Works on the new Balmoral Road Reserve Sports Complex in Kellyville are well underway . Three out of four fields have now been turfed , in addition to the commencement of ball stop fencing . Work continues on the amenities buildings including brickwork , roofing and internal fit out .
The carpark and entry road is also being prepared for asphalting , while works are near completion on the surrounding pathways .
The Balmoral Road Reserve Sports Complex is a great example of state and local governments working together to accelerate projects that stimulate the economy and create jobs as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic .
Once complete , the complex will feature :
• Tennis and multi-use ball courts ;
• Multi-purpose fields , including cricket ovals ;
• An amenities building ;
• 245-space car park ; and ,
• Children ’ s playground and picnic facilities .
