ISK INTER SCHOOLS
SWIMMING
CHAMPIONSHIP
The Hillcrest swimming team competed at this
year’s ISK inter Schools’ gala and the girls performed
exceptionally well.
Coral Hays won Gold in 100m individual medley, 50m
and 100m breaststroke, 50m and 100m backstroke, 50m
butterfly, 50m freestyle and Silver in 200m freestyle. She
also broke five meet records!
Alexandra Kranck won Gold in 50m, 100m and 200m
backstroke and Silver in 100m freestyle.
Yvonne Njoroge won Gold in 100m freestyle, Bronze in
50m butterfly and 50m backstroke.
Maya Melesi from Prep won Gold in 50m and 100m
breaststroke, Silver in 100m freestyle and 100m
backstroke, and Bronze in 100m individual medley and
50m freestyle.
The following swimmers also made a significant
contribution to the overall team score: Wamboi Mwangi
and Yelen Pognon from Prep, Gray McCarthy and
Damon Oosterik from Secondary.
The girls’ team emerged second runners up overall.
