-Provence & Mediterranean-
T he Provence conjures up images of lavender fields, olive groves and pretty
villages under clear blue skies. In addition to these evocative scenes, the Provence
offers a wide variety of walking and holiday experiences.
Along the Mediterranean Coast, discover 3 unique regions: Our Pyrenees Coastal
Trail forges a way along the Catalan Coast between the mighty Pyrenees and the
Med stopping overnight at pretty fishing villages, whilst our Costa Brava walk
continues south into Spain around stunning headlands and through historic villag-
es. Further east the Calanques National Park consists of spectacular white cliffs
and narrow inlets reminiscent of the fjords of Norway.
Les Baronnies is our little secret, which never fails to impress. A patchwork of
lavender and thyme fields are framed by dramatic cliffs and ridges. You can
choose between a circular tour or a centre-based holiday in this unspoilt and
remote region with plenty of wildlife interest.
South of Baronnies is the Luberon, a more well-known region. You can choose
between a week-long, easy walk or a longer 12-night trail. Both walks pass be-
tween quintessential historic Luberon villages, such as Gordes, Bonnieux and
Roussillon, with the longer trail getting well off the beaten track and onto barren
ridges and along dramatic gorges.
Closer to the Rhone Valley is our Cote du Rhone Wine Trail which goes through
some of the most famous wine regions of the area as well as circling the dramatic
rock fins of Dentelles de Montmirail. Other dramatic rocky bluffs are to be found
in the Alpilles close to Avignon and Arles where you’ll discover the landscapes and
villages made famous by Van Gogh.
Lastly the Drome Provencale is an area further north where you’ll literally walk
into Provence as the vegetation changes before your eyes. Views of the Pre-Alps
accompany your journey south, passing pretty villages and varied landscapes.

-Pyrenees-
T he Pyrenees is a chain of mountains reaching over 3000m which stretch from the
Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean Sea between France and Spain. Our walking holi-
days cover the different range of landscapes found in this unique region.
The GR10 is a wonderful and dramatic trek along the entire length of the Pyrenees
covering over 400km of trail that are often strenuous. For 2019 we have introduced the
first 4 sections of this trek, of which 3 are presented in this brochure. Luggage transfers
and rooms for 2 are included where possible. The first section of the trail through the
Basque country is much easier than the other sections and is a beautiful walk in its own
right.
Our Traverse of the Pyrenees National Park is also an easier option than the GR10
holidays and allows you to discover the must-see sights in the high French Pyrenees.
The Azun is a luminous valley in the Western Pyrenees where our holiday follows balco-
ny trails where you’ll marvel at wonderful panoramas and well preserved mountain
villages.
The Cerdagne, located in Eastern Pyrenees, is a plateau lying at 2000m which offers
expansive views and enjoys a sunny climate where you can enjoy natural warm springs.
