DISPATCH Feminist Moving Image presents a
short-format, experimental film programme
that will question what it means to move - and
to be moved - in the contemporary world.
Through the impactful lens of women-centric
moving images, this programme will also
explore the revolutionary act of stillness and
contemplation as an indispensable form of
movement that allows us to wonder - and
wander - in a world that encourages us to move
ever faster, without thought.

As a bonus extra, the Edinburgh Short Film Festival’s enthusiastic staff have
put together a programme of some of their favourite shorts of recent years,
ranging from dark, edgy comedy and body horror to quirky, indie drama
with a sprinkling of affecting relationship stories and some outstanding
experimental cinema.
Life is short so it’s just as well our films are too!
