Jack King-Spooner is an artist who makes video games . His games span from the most objectionable to the tenderest of sentiments and always seek to express ideas that cannot be expressed in unvarnished prose .

pianocube The Pianocube is a playable sculpture made from three upcycled upright pianos . A sonic playground . You can pluck it , tap it , stroke it , tickle it and bash it in any way that your imagination suggests . You can even climb inside it . A multiplayer for all ages .
room to play
Room to Play is a multi-disciplinary , hands-on , residency programme for emerging musicians , artists & game developers , exploring interactive live and digital processes in music , art , performance and game-development . In 2016 a team of 13 emerging musicians , visual artists , game developers and other professions came together for 10 weeks to work with award-winning musician , sound-designer , game developer and sonic artist , Yann Seznec ( British Composer Award for Sonic Art , 2015 ), as well as Edinburgh ’ s Tinderbox Orchestra , to develop a series of interactive musical and orchestral performances and installations . These were exhibited and showcased at Hidden Door Festival 2016 , Edinburgh Game Symposium at DARE ProtoPlay 2016 , and at North Edinburgh Arts . Room to Play 2016 was supported by Creative Scotland .

UNFORESEEN returns to Hidden Door for its second series of multi-discipline , audience-interactive situations facing the as yet unknown . Bringing new work influenced by output from the 2015 series , independent arts organisations in aerial dance , music and digital visuals respond to audience feedback through improvisation live , leading collective participation in an everevolving new work .
