The future of today:
genetic modification
By: Kevin Murray
Throughout the history of the homosapien, this has
always tried to surpass itself and as they have been
progressing, and at the same time have been
evolving. All people in the world are different both
physically and psychologically, this is due to
something called DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), in
very general terms DNA is the protein that
constitutes the genetic code of people; this helps
us to adapt to the different environments and
events that occur around the whole planet earth.
But what would happen if we modified the genetic
code of people and we could "improve" them? This
is where the matter of genetics comes in, it is
dedicated to research and modification of DNA,
but many moral norms and dilemmas also come
into play, since the nature of human beings is
being altered, and the essence of the individual.
The term genetic modification refers to the
manipulation of the genetic code of living
organisms, for the purpose of improving the bree d
and species of such living being.
