There are household chores and errands you have not been able to get to. There are friends you have been dying to see over lunch, but the thought of even a morsel of food, let alone a full meal, sends you into waves of nausea. So how do you cope? Do you just lay there, feeling sorry for yourself? Or do you do the things you CAN do but never had the time for? When most women get pregnant, they look forward to spending the next nine months preparing their households for their new arrival. Their thoughts turn to buying baby items, calling all their family and friends with the great news, and preparing the new baby’s room. But when your days consist of always being close to a bathroom and not being able to have even a small bite of your favorite foods, you realize that your pregnancy is not going to be the smooth sailing you hoped for. 2
