The Saint Pius X Endowment Fund was established in 1993 to address the growing need for financial assistance at Saint Pius X High School . Funds for the Endowment were raised over the years by the Saint Pius X Alumni Association primarily through the annual golf outing that was run by David Psota and the his committee . The purpose of the Fund was to provide financial assistance to students of Saint Pius X related to tuition and school fees . Recipients must have demonstrated financial need and either graduated from a Saint Pius X partner school or belonged to a Saint Pius X partner parish .

For the purposes of the Endowment Fund , the Saint Pius X partner schools / parishes were defined as : Saint Aloysius ( Pottstown ), Blessed Teresa of Calcutta ( Limerick ), Saint Eleanor ( Collegeville ), Sacred Heart ( Royersford ), Saint Philip Neri ( Pennsburg ), Holy Family ( Phoenixville ), Saint Basil ( Kimberton ), Saint Mary ( Schwenksville ), and Saint Francis Academy ( Bally ) and their successors .
The Saint Pius X Endowment Fund continues to fulfill its original mission by providing financial assistance to students attending Pope John Paul II High School . In the past five years , over $ 70,000 in financial assistance has been provided to over 100 students from the traditional Saint Pius X partner schools to attend Pope John Paul II High School . This past year 11 % of the total externally funded Financial Aid was provided by the SPX Endowment .
Overseen by the Endowment Trustees , donations to the fund will allow those deserving students who seek a Catholic education the assistance they need . Trivia Night
THINK - That was the team with the “ Best Themed Table ” at the recent Trivia Night . Shirts , hats , and even glass tumblers implores team members to THINK . The message only half worked as they finished out of the money . Over 100 people enjoyed an evening of fun destined to become an annual event .
Holly Jolly Christmas Spectacular
Pope John Paul II hosted an inaugural holiday evening for PJPII families and alums and their families featuring a variety of events . Included in the activities were face painting by the PJP Cheerleaders , Christmas carols , dancing , ornament making , a visit from Santa — who arrived on the Royersford Fire Company truck — and Smores and hot chocolate served along side our fire pits . The highlight of the evening was a Live Nativity scene featuring our PJP students and real animals for youngsters to pet .

C program is a special Pennsylvania program that is designed as a WIN / WIN for schools and businesses . Qualifying businesses and LLC ’ s can obtain a tax credit by designating their Pennsylvania taxes to a qualifying scholarship fund - offering an opportunity for families needing financial assistance to afford a PJP education .
