The new academic year has started at Heritage and Westwood has begun the year looking forward to another great year. We would like to thank Mr Wood who has worked very hard for Westwood House and wish him all the very best in his new ventures. Mr Wood was the Head of House with Westwood since we started the new House system and he will be sorely missed.
However, we would very much like to welcome back, Miss Palmer who has been acting Head of Westwood. Miss Palmer is keen to carry on the tradition of Westwood being such an enormously successful house and we look forward to the new students who will be joining Westwood as they join Heritage School.
The first item of business has been to appoint a fabulous group of prefects. Congratulations to Alex Warren, Callum Ellis, Danielle Metcalfe, Ebony Holley, Eve Bennett, George Galpin, Jack White, James Roche, Kimberly Palmer, Kyne Storer, and Lawrence Warren who have been appointed as prefects for the school.

Also, a huge warm welcome to Jordan Whiteman and Olivia Palmer who have been appointed House Captains for Westwood. Both students are actively involved in various aspects of school life and we are looking forward to them leading us through this next academic year.
Lewis Clarke & Eve Bennett
Also, importantly, especially in light of Sports Day coming upon us once again, we would like to welcome Lewis Clarke as Sports Ambassador for Westwood. He is replacing Ethan Marsh who represented the house incredibly well. He is joined by Eve Bennett who became Sports Ambassador last year and helped to lead the House to regain the Sports Day champions once again. One which we hope to regain again this year.
Finally, Westwood have appointed Billy Street-Rose as our very own technician. Billy is extremely talented at IT and he is going to provide a“ Westwood Blog” for the school’ s website, so keep an eye out for the activities of our house. We are extremely proud of our students and keen for you to share in our success. It has been an outstanding year and we wish everyone an enjoyable

Tolkien are very pleased to announce our new prefects. Congratulations to, Charlie Massey, Georgie McGregor, Beverley Nzima, Harry Langley, Jordan Driffield, Megan Harding, Ellie Bytheway, Alice Hammond, Leonie Robinson, Olivia Lawrence.
Also a massive congratulations to Victoria Stafford and Lauren Sabin who will be leading Tolkien House as House Captains for the next academic year.
Tolkien Prefects
Tolkien House have been at the front with the highest number of vivos through the year and so we eagerly await the end of term to see if we can achieve a third successive year at the top.
