The Lions are to play back to back home games with Ennis to follow Mesquite Poteet on Oct. 9. The Lions are also to play at home against Terrell on Oct. 24 and against Crandall on Nov. 6. Terrell will be the Hall of Fame game and the Crandall district contest will be Senior Night.
The Lions are to play five returning playoff teams: 10-3 Sulphur Springs, 8-4 Midlothian Heritage, 6-5 Terrell, 7-5 Kaufman and 10-2 Crandall.
Sulphur Springs reached the region semifinals in Class 4A-I last season and is ranked No. 9 in that division by Dave Campbell’ s Texas Football Magazine.
