three games last season with an injury, threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 222 yards and five scores. Granado caught two touchdown passes last season and King got some quality playing time.
But the biggest news for the Hornets on offense is the return of four of the five starters on the offensive line, including Mitch Bennett( 5-10, 205, Sr.), Eli Cannon( 5-11, 215, Sr.), Luke Scoggins( 6-2, 240, Sr.) and Brady Martin( 6-0, 230).
The Hornets’ defense returns seven regulars with King and Granado at defensive back, Nathan Baird( 6-0, 175) at linebacker, plus Barnett, Cannon, Scoggins and Martin on the defensive line. Baird made 50 tackles last season. Granado was in on 25 stops.
